Let me help you make a plan.

i’m here for you

Are you having a really rough time getting going and need help? Is this your second baby and breastfeeding didn’t work out the first time, so you want to make a plan? Maybe you had a discouraging well check and were asked to supplement by your doctor. Or are you having a lot of pain or nipple damage, your baby isn’t latching, or you don’t think you have enough milk.  Maybe your baby was premature or has some special medical considerations and you want to breastfeed but are getting mixed information. You may have even stopped breastfeeding and want to try again, are adopting a baby or planning on co-nursing with your partner.

I’m here to offer parents and parents-to-be the best evidence-based advice, support, and guidance to help them reach their breastfeeding goals. I advocate for what you want and work closely with your primary care team to provide you with the best breastfeeding support YOU need.

Prenatal Counseling

The In-Home Prenatal Consultation is a private consult tailored just for you. During our consultation we will cover: how to prepare for breastfeeding, any supplies/items needed for the hospital or at home, how to latch, troubleshooting for common problems, and diet/nutrition. We discuss common fears and misconceptions as well as past difficulties (if this isn’t your first time around). Together, we will address any concerns you have and make a plan for after the baby is born. Preparing for your new arrival is overwhelming at times, and I aim to make learning how to breastfeed an enjoyable memory! This includes a digital breastfeeding packet full of useful information.

In-home Counseling Self Pay: $145

Telehealth Counseling Self-Pay $95

Travel fee may apply if outside of Pinellas County.

Postpartum Consultation

These intake sessions typically last 75-90 minutes. We will do as much as possible- review your history and birth, address questions, observe a feeding session, check flange fit and pump operation, infant oral assessment, weight check and weighted feeding to assess milk transfer or observe a bottle feeding. Together we will develop a personalized plan for care to help get you on track and I will send a report to your pediatrician/provider. You’ve got questions, and I’ve got answers!

Follow Up Consultations may be necessary depending on the problem and are shorter in duration (60 minutes,) but are available for established clients for the duration of breastfeeding/chestfeeding with that baby if more help is needed later on.

Some of the many reasons you may seek out care:

  • Positioning and latching difficulties
